About me

-●-●-●-●-ATTENTION: -●-●-●-●-
Please review the following guidelines before your visit. -●●- This list of guidelines will also be sent to you in your confirmation email-●●-

OUTDOOR VISITATION GUIDELINES -●●-
● Outdoor visits will be allowed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. during weekdays and weekends.
● All outdoor visits will be scheduled via Reservio
● Outdoor visits will not be scheduled during mealtimes.
● A staff member will meet visitors outside the front door and take their temperature and complete a COVID-19 screening and risk assessment for each visitor for every visit.
● Visitors screening positive for COVID will not be allowed to visit outdoors and will be asked to refrain from visiting for 14 days.
● Outdoor visitation poses a lower risk of transmission due to increased space and airflow. Aside from weather considerations, a resident’s health status, or the facility’s outbreak status, outdoor visitation will be conducted.
● Outdoor visitation will take place in a safe designated space.
● Only two people may come for an outdoor visit at a time. Children and pets are allowed for outdoor visits. Children and pets must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets must be on a leash, or the visitors will be asked to leave. A child under 5 does not count as a visitor.
● Visits are scheduled for 30-minute intervals. Visits may occur up to once daily depending on available time slots. Visitors need to arrive and leave on time so that all residents are able to enjoy their 30-minute visits.
● All visitors must bring and use their own well-fitting face covering during the entire visit.
● Residents will be given a face mask to use during the visit.
● Visitors must stay away six feet away from other residents, staff and visitors.
● Touch and close contact with the residents is prohibited at this time
● If a visitor brings food or drinks or any other item for their loved one, they must be given to a staff member. Staff members will gladly accept them and give them to the resident after the visit. This prevents the removal of masks by residents or guests during the outdoor visit.
● Visitors must wear a face mask, and distance from other residents, staff, and visitors that are not part of their group at all times.
● Facemask are needed during outdoor visits that take place on the front porch as there are other residents, staff, and visitors in the vicinity.
● Visitors who do not follow the guidelines outlined will be asked to leave.

-●●-OFF CAMPUS RECREATIONAL APPOINTMENT (non-medical)-●●-
● We wish to reinforce to visitors that traveling with residents off campus carries an inherent risk of being exposed to or contracting the COVID-19.
● We encourage all visitors and residents to be fully vaccinated before taking their loved one to off campus recreational appointments.
● While away from the facility, we strongly recommend to residents to use their face mask, practice social distancing, and hand hygiene and we also ask those around our residents to do the same.
● Off campus recreational appointments are booked via Reservio
● A staff member will meet visitors outside the front door and take their temperature and complete a COVID-19 screening and risk assessment for each visitor for every outing.
● Visitors screening positive for COVID will be asked to postpone their recreational outing for 14 days.
● Regardless of the vaccination status, if there is a significant exposure to COVID-19 during an outing; a resident may be placed on quarantine and tested following the outing.

-●●-NOTE-●●-
Our ability to permit indoor and outdoor in-person visits is based on guidelines set forth by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Maryland Department of Health. We must follow the guidance provided and note it can change at any time.
Fully vaccinated refers to an individual who is two weeks or more following receipt of the second dose in a 2 dose series, or two weeks or more following receipt of one dose of a single dose vaccine; there is currently no post-vaccination time limit on fully vaccinated status.
Unvaccinated refers to an individual who does not fit the definition of “fully vaccinated,” including people whose vaccination status is not known.
